1. Attitude ~ Your company will thrive if you associate yourself with people with a great attitude. These people present vitality and action to all that they do. Their mindset is infectious and every person wants to join them. Because these people have such a wonderful outlook on life and the challenges they take on, these MLM leads will assuredly bring success to your company.

2. Personality ~ We all know that network marketing is a people business. Everyone wants to associate themselves with people with a great personality, don’t they? This is the quality I constantly seek whenever I recruit someone for my business since these folks are a pleasure to work with. Because of their personality, they have a tendency to associate with others who have like attributes and this makes them essential to your business.

3. Drive ~ Everyone knows that it takes a lot of hard work and commitment to succeed in network marketing. Accordingly, when facing difficulty and rejection, it’s the person with the most drive that will succeed and not give up. Don’t make the mistake of targeting everyone or you will end up losing the majority of people that won’t succeed. A person who is completely driven will have the tendency to motivate everybody they are involved with. Being driven is a very contagious attribute and one that great MLM leaders seek when recruiting leads.

4. Leadership ~ You view people as a true leader with not only the success they’ve achieved but the characteristics they exhibit. Why do we follow great leaders and seek them for motivation. True leaders have passion for what they do. They are consistently positive, energetic and optimistic. Even in failure they are unwilling to give up and consistently motivate others that their goals can be achieved. Not only are these people completely committed to what they undertake, they inspire the people around them to emulate their passion. Anyone can be a leader, they just have to be willing to rise above the status quo and learn the skills that others are unfit or unwilling to learn.

5. Goal Oriented ~ A good MLM lead will have set goals they are pursuing and have a plan of action to achieve them. Question your leads and determine if they do in fact have a plan and know where they are going. Don’t waste your time prospecting for your network marketing business if a lead does not have a set course mapped out for their future. These people will only hold you back and be a liability.

If you want to achieve success in your business, you must follow your intuition and go after the appropriate personality. Your network marketing recruiting efforts will pay off if you target people with these 5 indispensible qualities.

Forget about using the techniques your network marketing up line is teaching you. Im sure you have done these things, bugging friends and family, the three foot rule, hotel meetings and handing out fliers. These people did not end up with tens of thousands of people in their organization handing out fliers! How degrading. I called more out of service numbers than I can count. When I did get a person on the phone they could be down right mean. I thought I was purchasing leads. All of this rejection left me feeling unable to do anything. I did not feel too confident after this.

At this point I had spent so much time and money that I was truly out of both. I think I may have been out of my mind as well. All this work and nothing to show for it.
