Webinar Tools For Creating The Perfect Webinar!

There are a few webinar tools you will need to run a professional and effective webinar. Because the effectiveness of your webinar begins with the webinar set up.

Start planning your presentation by creating a webinar set-up sheet. On this sheet, list out the following:

- your webinar OBJECTIVE (sales, a phone appointment, education?)

- your webinar TITLE (this should be benefit driven)

- what you plan to COVER on your webinar

- your STORY (This is “why” you are qualified to host your webinar.)

- CASE STUDIES (results of how you, or the people you have helped, have solved the “problem”)

- EDUCATION (This is when you can give them some of your best tips and tricks for their business.)

- ROAD BLOCKS to success (These might be setbacks your viewers could face.)

- CALL TO ACTION (what do you want them to do? Visit your web site and buy your product or service? Call your office for an appointment? Sign up for a paid webinar class?)

Another webinar tool is a powerpoint template for your webinar ppt. Creating a webinar ppt is easy if you include these items:

-background graphic – Create or have someone else create an appealing, memorable graphic that communicates the message of your webinar. Use it as the background graphic on your master slide.

- your picture – Also on your master slide, use a professional-looking picture of yourself. Put it in the top left corner. Seeing a picture of your will help people remember you and your voice.

-bullet points that show up when you click your mouse – Go to the “custom animation” option and have each line on your presentation appear when you click your mouse in the master slide.

- call to action url – In the master view, add a url at the top so that the “call to action” is available on each slide. The call to action should lead to a web site where your audience can take an action (buy button, phone number to call, email option form, etc.)

Finally, to set up your webinar, you’ll need these tools:

- webinar hosting – A webinar hosting account lets you present your audio and video to hundreds of people at the same time. A few webinar hosting companies include: GoToWebinar, Manexa, Omnovia, Web Ex and Adobe Connect

- registration web page – You can use the registration page given to you by the webinar hosting company or you can create your own (recommended). Remember to use benefit-driven language to entice them to register for your webinar. “What’s in it for them?”

-an autoresponder – Even after your viewers register, you will want to remind them of the coming webinar. Afterwards, you will definitely want to follow up with each one who attended.

So those are the essential webinar tools. Give them careful thought, set them up, and you will likely see HUGE results.

Recording Webinars 101

You will be surprised at how fast you can start recording webinars once you have two computers and know a few tricks to get this done.

Broadcasting your webinar will take place from your primary computer (mac or pc). However, you should ensure that you get the most affordable prices because preparing any webinar in a rush can be very costly. Based on my experience, I found GoToWebinar by Citrix to be the cheapest solution on the market. They also offer you the possibility of having as many webinars as you want during the month. If you decide to use GoToWebinar, then you will be able to have up to 1000 participants at one time. The best part is that if you decide to prepare dummy webinars, then you will be able to do this as well.

If you are looking for a webinar service that will give you results and not headaches, then try recording with Camtasia. You will not have to worry about the strange files that other recording services have, and your webinar will be successful as opposed to recording and editing with other services.

Once you open Camtasia on your recording computer, set the recording box to 640 x 480. Having both a recording and a broadcasting computer will allow you to host the webinar and attend your own webinar at the same time. The audio must be set for manual input instead of automatic.

You will need to know a few things while you record webinars to prevent echo and feedback from getting in. It will be necessary to get a cord that has a 1/80 jack on each end from your nearest electronic store. To have a continuous loop, simply plug one end into the microphone and the other end into the hole for the headset. This will help you not to pick up any feedback and echo while you record webinars close to your computer. You can save recoding and editing for later.

Your webinar will have to be resized to fit into the green recording box that you got from Camtasia. To have a professional webinar recording, simply hit the record button and watch the sound levels that appear.

After this you will be able to modify it according to your personal needs: web, CD, blog , etc. You are ready! Now you know the tips to record webinars that will make you look and sound professional.

Webinar Planning For Those Who Are New to Webinars

If you were given the opportunity and knowledge necessary for implementing and planning webinars as a part of your business, would you do it? What would prevent you from taking action with webinars if you knew they would be a good investment of your time and energy? Webinars are known for their effectiveness in teaching people to do things. And planning and hosting webinars is an excellent way to teach people to do things from the ease of your home.

Many people, however, hesitate to take the necessary steps for hosting webinars. They deny themselves the opportunity of making money online because they assume one of the following objections is true:

1) The costs that are attached to planning and conducting webinars are too high. I will not deny that there is an initial investment in creating webinars, including the time that is necessary to learn vital facts and information; however, the overall returns are far greater than the investment. For example, our profits have always fallen between $3000-$5000 when we planned one if we have more than 50 people at the webinar. I always ensure that I do not have less than 50 people on my webinars because that means I will be targeting a smaller audience and making less money. Once you have conducted your first webinar, you will be able to see the monetary returns.

2) Only big-ticket items will be worth the effort when planning webinars. This is not true. It is possible to make a good amount on money by selling small ticket items such as e-books that cost $29. These are excellent for those that have very little start-up capital. My wife Kerry planned a webinar with her “Raising Leaders, Not Followers” ebook, which only costs $37, and she was able to make $16,000 on that webinar alone. Therefore, it is not workshops nor expensive courses that will generate high returns.

3) It requires a great degree of technical knowledge. I will not deny that planning and running your webinars requires some level of technical consciousness. However, there is nothing out of the ordinary that you cannot learn. There is a high-demand course that I have available that offers step-by-step instructions about planning webinars. However, if you do not want to learn the content yourself, you can ask someone else to do that part for you. You are free to concentrate on preparing the presentation.

These are the reasons that most skeptics use when discussing webinars. However, if your excuses are not holding out anymore as to why planning webinars is not for you, then it is time to take action. You will be glad you did when you see the results.
