Making Money with Free Articles Content

Some web publishers are using articles from free content directories to get visitors to their site and make some money. This is mostly important for those who have just begun affiliate marketing for several web sites and do not yet have any capitals, yet need to built small niche websites to drive visitors to their site so that they can begin making some revenue .

Although this can sometimes be the only option for those who are running on a non-existent budget, it is not a way that will effectively build your site or income. There are a few potential reasons why this may be detrimental to your business building efforts.

Problem #1 – Search Engines

Search engines will only look down upon your site if it has the exact same duplicated content than other web sites. The more web sites that share your content, the less it will help you achieve good search engine rankings.

Good search engine rankings are essential in getting visitors to your website so that they have a chance to click on your affiliate links. If you cannot even get traffic, then will never make an income. Working on the search engine optimization of your site so that you will eventually be high enough in the results to get customers, should be priority one.

Problem #2 – Getting visitors to click

Although getting your web site high on search engine result pages and acquiring site traffic is hard work, unfortunately this is only half of the battle. You must also be able to convince those visitors to click on your affiliate links. If your visitors see the same content they have seen on a multitude of other site, they will be least likely to click on your links. This is because most people want to buy things that are recommended by people that they trust or whom they feel like are an expert on the subject.

If your content is just duplicated from other sites, you will be exposed as someone who does not really know what they are talking about and therefore will not look heavily on your product recommendations. This will reduce the number of site visitors who will be willing to click through.

Problem #3 – Author Bylines

Most free content with reprint rights is only given to you if you agree to place the authors byline under the article (you will get into trouble if you try to use it without following the stipulated rules). This poses a problem because most author resource boxes include links. When a reader gets done reading a really intriguing article, there is a strong possibility that they will will click on the author resource box link rather than your affiliate links. This is the entire reason why these authors offer free content to begin with, so that they may get their name and links out there to the public. Using this type of content may mean shooting yourself in the foot and losing profits with your web site visitors.

Once you put these 3 problems together, you are looking at a serious decline in revenue just because you used free website content from article sites. Although it may be the only option for some, if you have the funds to buy your own exclusive content, then you should go this route. If you don have the finds, however, you may be better off writing your own content and then hiring professional services once you have made a profit to work with.

Niche Marketing Success

Anyone who is interested in making a living online has heard about private label rights (PLR) articles and software solutions. The question is how you can use these products to improve online sales and enhance the value of your online offerings. A large number of marketers are already using PLR products to enhance their value and generate a large affiliate or product income.

When thinking about private label rights products and software packages, there are numerous options for reselling or repackaging these assets to support your online marketing initiatives. In this article I provide a number of ways that you can package and resell these products to create a continuous revenue stream.

Create New Niche Focused Bundles. By assembling about half a dozen related articles or products around a single theme, you can focus your efforts on a particular niche. Simply put together six or eight products on the same topic and offer them as a bundle. Once you have decided which products make an enticing package, relabel your product with a provocative title. For example, if you are creating a package on gardening, name your package “Gardening For Beginners”. Then price your package in tiers with the lowest price being for the articles or software themselves, the middle tier with resale rights, and the top tier with private label rights allowing individuals to customize the components.

Create A Niche Membership Website. Develop a membership website around the products you have assembled. Then, distribute your product in the form of software or information through a membership website on a monthly. You should charge your audience a fee of only a few dollars to access this content. Depending on how unique it is, you could charge more. It only takes a handful of subscribers to get your business started. Then, you can focus on other niche areas with additional membership sites.

You can increase your membership by using private label products. Add resell rights for members, an exclusive option, and you create a larger following that truly values what you provide.

Create New Products. Once you have found a niche and accessed PLR products, you can then create unique products that meet the need of your niche or audience. As a result, you will have products that no other site is using and can shape a unique offering around that product. The benefit of product creation is that you have something unique to offer that is not available anywhere else. An additional benefit is that you can price your product independently and determine how best to distribute giving variable rights and licenses.

One really good way to sell your product is by distributing helpful information at no cost. This gets your name in front of prospects and serves as a vehicle for selling your PLR product. Additionally, you can use this report to collect names and email prospects, moving them to purchase.

Anyone can leverage the power of PLR to begin making money online. Doing so is easy and you can get started for little money. There is some great content online, in addition to this basic article, about leveraging PLR to create your own online business. Do your research, pick a product, and get started. Try to learn from others who are using PLRs to make a living.
