Google Issues New SEO Starter Guide To The Public

Just recently, Google published their SEO Starter Guide for 2010, which is updated with the many changes seo has undergone since the first release of the guide in 2008. This newly updated guide is said to cater to the needs of beginners at the same time allow experienced SEOs to brush up on some of the new concepts. Starters are sure to find the starter guide helpful in tackling SEO. At the same time, knowledgeable SEOs also see it as a way to be updated with Google’s ideas on search engine optimization.

Within the Google SEO Starter Guide, much has altered since the previously written one, and this edition now has the SEO for mobile phones. The aspect of giving direction to SEO for mobile phones is a great addition since most Internet users can now surf the Internet through their mobile phones. In the section, Google helps individuals understand why there is a demand to have a mobile edition of a website, as well as how to cover SEO for it.

While the Google SEO Starter Guide is indeed basic, it does help individuals realize that search engine optimization is still going strong despite the introduction of Google Instant. It is a known fact that some remarks have surfaced that with the release of Google Instant came the destruction of SEO. The fact is that search engine optimization is not really getting phased out, instead it proceeds to be as important as ever.

The starter guide also helps readers understand keywords and the reasons why good keyword research is required. The guide explains the essence of keyword research in SEO, and stresses the fact that guessing keywords will not do.

Studying SEO is not exactly difficult to achieve. However, persistence, time, and diligence are needed in order to process quality search engine optimization. The Google SEO Starter Guide is indeed helpful for those who are either confused about SEO or still learning about SEO. Nevertheless, this does not mean that you do not require an SEO master. If you need fast results in a particular amount of time, it is best to get the help of an experienced SEO. Still, it is a great idea to read the Google Starter Guide in order to study about SEO and its numerous aspects.

Social media: Participatory online media where news, photos, videos, and podcasts are made public via social media websites through submission. Normally accompanied with a voting process to make media items become “popular”.[citation needed]

Social Media Expanded Definition: Social Media is the democratization of information, transforming people from content readers into content publishers. It is the shift from a broadcast mechanism to a many-to-many model, rooted in conversations between authors, people, and peers.

Social media uses the wisdom of crowds to connect information in a collaborative manner. Social media can take many different forms, including Internet forums, message boards, weblogs, wikis, podcasts, pictures and video. Technologies such as blogs, picture-sharing, vlogs, wall-postings, email, instant messaging, music-sharing, group creation and voice over IP, to name a few. Examples of social media applications are Google (reference, social networking), Wikipedia (reference), MySpace (social networking), Facebook(social networking), Last.fm (personal music), YouTube (social networking and video sharing), Second Life (virtual reality), and Flickr (photo sharing).
